1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Liminl platform (the "Service"), operated by Liminl Inc., a Delaware corporation, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notification.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Liminl. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
3. Account Registration
To use Liminl, you must create an account using a valid email address. You may optionally provide additional information including LinkedIn profile data (via CSV upload or browser extension) and access to Google services (via authorized OAuth integration, as described in Section 5A). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
You agree to notify us immediately at support@goliminl.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Description of Service
Liminl is an AI-powered career networking platform that helps users leverage their professional networks for career advancement. The Service includes:
AI-Generated Recommendations:
Liminl uses artificial intelligence ("Limi AI") to generate networking suggestions, draft messages, and recommend relationship-building actions.
These recommendations are generated algorithmically and should not be treated as professional career advice.
Third-Party Data Enrichment:
To improve the quality of recommendations, Liminl may supplement user-provided information with data from third-party sources.
This enrichment is used solely to enhance your experience within the platform.
Network Visualization:
The Service provides tools to visualize and manage your professional network, including pathway mapping and task-based relationship management.
Google Integrations: With your explicit authorization, the Service may access your Google account data (including Gmail and Google Calendar) to enhance networking recommendations and surface relevant scheduling and communication context.
These integrations are described in detail in Section 5A.
5. User Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
You retain ownership of the data you provide to Liminl. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
5A. Google API Data: Scope, Use, and Limited Use Compliance
When you connect your Google account to Liminl, we request access to specific Google API scopes. This section describes what data we access, how we use it, and the restrictions we follow.
Gmail Access
If you authorize Gmail access, Liminl may access your email metadata (such as sender names, recipient names, subject lines, and timestamps) and, where necessary for the Service, message body content. This data is used solely to:
Identify professional contacts within your email history to build and enrich your network graph
Surface relevant communication context to support AI-generated networking recommendations
Detect relationship signals (such as recency and frequency of communication) to inform pathway scoring
Parse intro mentions and application-confirmation emails to keep your job search status current
Liminl does not use Gmail data for advertising, does not allow humans to read your email content unless you provide explicit consent or it is required by law, and does not transfer Gmail data to third parties except as needed to operate the Service.
Google Calendar Access
If you authorize Google Calendar access, Liminl may access your calendar event data (such as event titles, event descriptions, times, attendee lists, and meeting links). This data is used solely to:
Identify professional contacts and meeting patterns to enrich your network graph
Provide scheduling context for networking actions and recommendations
Detect relationship signals (such as meeting frequency) to inform pathway scoring
Liminl does not use Calendar data for advertising, does not share Calendar data with third parties except as needed to operate the Service, and does not access Calendar data for any purpose unrelated to the Service.
Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance
Liminl's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use data obtained through Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models. Specifically:
We only use Google user data to provide and improve the user-facing features of the Service that are visible and apparent to you
We do not transfer Google user data to third parties unless necessary to provide or improve the Service, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale with prior notice to you
We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements, including retargeting, personalized, or interest-based advertising
We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless we have your affirmative agreement for specific messages, it is necessary for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), it is necessary to comply with applicable law, or our use is limited to internal operations and the data has been aggregated and anonymized
Revoking Google Access
You may revoke Liminl's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account permissions page (https://myaccount.google.com/permissions) or by contacting us at support@goliminl.com. Upon revocation, we will stop accessing new data from Google APIs and will delete previously accessed Google user data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIMINL INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
